The Finger Family would like to thank all new and existing clients who came and supported us at our first sale.
The highest priced bull was Lot 2, Riga Leonardo L2, an Africa son out of an Earley Dateline cow. He was sold to a new client from Yea for $5,250 weighing in at 710kg with an ADWG of 1.62kg and in the top 20% for all indexes, growth and feed efficiency. This client also took home a further 2 bulls for his operation.
Another volume buyer was from Wangaratta who secured 3 bulls, including Lot 10 for $4,500 by one of Riga’s own bulls, Riga Harry H5. He weighed in at 648kg, ADWG of 1.57kg/day and was in the top 20% for milk and temperament.
The 13 month old bulls provided excellent buying for the discerning cattleman with consistent post sale feedback. The optimism and goodwill has been almost overwhelming.
